Integrated Development Environment

MSIStudio provides a fully featured Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for developing installations. Setups can be created, compiled, debugged and uninstalled directly from the IDE.

MSIStudio mimics the Visual Studio interface with dockable tabbed windows. The Project Workspace contains all the resources for the project. Selecting a resource will present the details in the main view. All objects in the workspace can be modified using the Properties Window. There are tabbed views for the main sections of the project including File System, Registry, Dialog Boxes, Feature Structure, Tables Preview and others. The result of compilation and validation operations are presented in the output window anchored to the bottom of the IDE by default.
