Validation allows the user to run the ICE validation suites against projects that have been built. This will check the installation package for Microsoft® Windows® Logo compatibility as well as serving as a tool for checking the integrity of a setup.
Four standard validation suites are provided with MSIStudio. Other custom validation files can be selected as validation tests.
The output of the validation gives a clear listing of any errors that have been found along with their cause and possible resolution. |
