Setup Structure

The structure of an installation can be created and modified in a completely visual manner. Features can be created easily. Components can be associated with features easily using context menus or drag and drop. Components and features can be dragged and copied between features. The ability to do all this visually through the MSIStudio structure screen makes it easy to develop sophisticated installation structures.

Components can be optionally displayed or hidden. It is sometimes useful to be able to hide the components during the process of creating a complicated feature structure. When the structure has been completed the components can be made visible again.

When the structure screen is active, the component bar can be accessed. This makes it easier to scan the available components and then drag and drop these components onto the desired features.
